Protection & Security

The addition of a protection dog to your security plan is a great way to protect your family and property. Unlike traditional methods of providing security, a German Shepherd’s wires cannot be cut, the batteries do not die, and the dog cannot be used against you. Our protection dogs constantly scan their environment for threats and dynamically adjust their response based on the potential threat.

Companionship

The bond between humans and dogs can be tracked back at least 15,000 years! Our clients and their families report that our dogs are their protectors and best friends at the same time. In addition, the latest scientific research shows that dogs help people live a healthier and happier life.

Courage

Courage is the ability of a protection dog to take on and neutralise threats much bigger than itself to protect its owners. Courage of a protection dog starts in their puppyhood. Our dogs are brought up with love, care, and positive reinforcement so that they can be future heroes.

Meet Mike

German Shepherd Breeder & Master Dog Trainer

Mike has 10 years of hands-on, practical experience training and breeding personal protection German Shepherds. Mike initially competed as a handler in the sport of Schutzhund, and has titled two dogs, Sifer Von Wendelin (a.k.a. Noori) and Ava. Within the first 15 months since Mike started, Mike managed the incredible feat of titling Noori with four professional titles. The sport of Schutzhund tests a dog’s tracking, obedience, and protection skills, and evaluates if the dog has the appropriate traits and characteristics of a good working dog. Mike’s early success as a handler in Schutzhund has given him an advantage in matching the ideal dog to each individual or family.

It is with this passion that Mike began his career as a professional breeder of working-line German Shepherds. Over the years, Mike has developed a strong understanding of the role genetics play in shaping superior German Shepherds. Mike’s talent in matching dogs with new owners and his understanding of genetics ensures long term dog-owner compatibility and customer satisfaction.

Sifer Von Wendelin (a.k.a. Noori)

Loyal. Protective. Bold.
Noori is the matriarch of the TigerhillK9 family. Noori comes from a longline of Czech border patrol dogs. She is powerful in protection, and a lovable member of Mike’s family.

Ava Tigerhil

Ava is not only intense and powerful in protection, but she’s also feisty. Ava has an extreme defensive drive, and she produces rare black German Shepherds for our kennel. Several of Ava’s puppies have placed highly in Schutzund competition.

Desi Tigerhill

Sound temperament. Outgoing personality. Protection focused. Desi now protects the home and property for a loving family of four.

Bit2 Tigerhill

Bit2 is extremely adept at switching between protection mode and affection mode. When duty calls, he is on immediate alert to protect his owner, but he knows just when to let down his guard when the coast is clear.

Ferrari Tigerhill

Ferrari is our young and upcoming dog who is training to compete in Schutzund.

Hey Mike, just wanted to share this with you. Was out for a walk around the neighborhood with Vonn today. I couldn't see too well cos the sun was in my eyes. She suddenly stopped and stood still and there was a pitbull standing less than 3 feet away from her. No collar leash or person with him. I yelled at him to go away and he backed up 2 steps and stopped. My heart was in my throat, didn't want my Vonnie to get hurt. Anyway he went to take one step towards us and Vonn let out a big roar and just launched herself on top of him. She grabbed a mouthful of scruff and shook him and then let go. That was enough for him, he left lol. And she just carried on with her walk as calm as could be. It was very impressive. She is a very friendly outgoing dog and loves everyone she meets. She is one heck of a dog. Very powerful and I have no doubt she will protect me no matter what. You have an outstanding kennel!
